The Trees Remember
Some stories are written. Others are kept by the land.
The Trees Remember is a celebration of roots, memory, and the quiet beauty of things that endure. Across its softly striped grey ground, hand-worked trees rise in shades of green, rust and deep crimson, creating a landscape that feels caught between seasons. Delicate blue stitches fall between the trees like traces of rain, while embroidered grass and long natural fringe give the scene movement and texture.
Crafted from 75% Nawl and 25% premium acrylic, the piece draws on the character of traditional woven textiles. Nawl is created through a heritage weaving process that gives the fabric its distinctive texture, structure and beautifully imperfect surface—qualities that cannot be replicated by mass production.
The landscape is finished with Aghabani embroidery, developed in collaboration with Levantine designers and craftspeople. Rather than simply decorating the garment, the embroidery turns it into a narrative: trees become symbols of ancestry and continuity, their changing colors suggesting generations, seasons and memories carried forward.
Each piece requires more than a week of meticulous work to complete. Because much of the process is done by hand, variations in stitching, placement, texture and finishing are intrinsic to the garment. No two pieces will ever be completely identical. These differences are not imperfections; they are the signature of the maker and what gives each piece its individual character.
The sweeping open silhouette and cascading fringe allow the craftsmanship to remain at the center. From the smaller gathering of trees at the front to the fuller forest revealed across the back, the story changes depending on how the piece is seen.
The Trees Remember is a piece of contemporary Levantine luxury—slowly made, deeply tactile, and created to carry the feeling of something inherited rather than simply purchased.

Manufacturing
Every Juzoor Levant piece is produced in small, carefully managed batches. We work with skilled artisans who understand that garment-making is not a race — it is a practice.
Our process:
- Cut and sewn by hand in limited quantities to maintain quality control at every stage
- Yarns are chosen with attention to texture, weight, and how they move on the body
- Each piece is inspected before it leaves — if it doesn't meet our standard, it doesn't ship
- No mass production. No shortcuts. No compromises.
We believe the way something is made is as important as how it looks. That belief is sewn into every seam.
